Privacy Policy
NECXSOFT ("we", "us") is a software development studio based in Davao City, Philippines. This policy explains what personal information we collect through necxsoft.com, why we collect it, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
When you send an inquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address (required)
- your company or project name, and phone number or Telegram handle (optional)
- whatever you write in your message
If you use our booking page, we also collect the project details, budget, timeline and preferred meeting time you enter.
Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to reply to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call, and prepare a scope or proposal you asked for. We process it on the basis of your consent and to take steps you request before entering into a contract (Section 12, RA 10173). We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who else handles it
We rely on a few service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Web3Forms delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from abuse.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google's servers.
Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines. We share personal information with government authorities only when the law requires it.
Demo apps and wallets
Our demo apps, such as Necxsoft Perps & Predictions, run on Solana devnet. If you connect a wallet, your public wallet address and any transactions you make are recorded on a public blockchain. That data is visible to anyone and cannot be edited or deleted by us or anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as we are discussing or working on your project. If an inquiry doesn't lead to a project, we delete it within 12 months. Records tied to a signed contract are kept for as long as Philippine tax and business laws require.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, the contact form is rate-limited and spam-filtered, and access to inquiries is limited to the team members who need them.
Your rights
Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object to its processing, to have it corrected, erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
